Alongside her new album release, 2018 will give us Hikaru Utada's first concert tour in 12 years. She will be performing 12 shows spanning 6 cities across Japan:

Hikaru Utada has officially announced the release of her 7th original Japanese language album Hatsukoi. The album will be released on June 27th, and contains 12 tracks including the digital singles Oozora de Dakishimete, Forevermore, Anata, Play A Love Song, (the now title-track) Hatsukoi, as well as still unreleased Kingdom Hearts III theme song Chikai.
The official tracklist and album cover art will be released at a later date.
Hikaru Utada appears in the latest commercial for Suntory's Tennensui sparkling bottled water. The new CM features a brand new song, titled Play A Love Song. This will be her third appearance in a Tennensui commercial, following her previous outings that featured tracks Michi and Oozora de Dakishimete.
Play A Love Song goes on sale digitally starting April 25th.

Hikaru Utada has revealed her latest track Hatsukoi (translation: First Love), the image song for the new TBS drama Hana Nochi Hare ~Hanadan Next Season~.
The single will be released digitally on May 30th.

Hikaru Utada will be providing a new song for the upcoming TBS Drama Hana Nochi Hare ~Hanadan Next Season~, airing April 17th.
Hana Nochi Hare ~Hanadan Next Season~ is a contemporary reboot of the 2007 mega hit drama Hana Yori Dango 2 (Returns), the drama for which Utada provided her massive single Flavor Of Life.
No details yet on the title of the song. We'll get our first listen of the track during the first episode of the drama, airing Tuesday April 17th at 10PM JST.
Hikaru Utada will be make an appearance in the next issue of Japanese publication SWITCH Magazine, on sale April 20th. She will be the cover star of the May issue, titled SWITCH Vol. 36 No. 5 – WHERE IS YOUR SWITCH.
This will be Hikaru's first cover and magazine appearance since the September 2017 issue of ROCKIN' ON JAPAN.
